Scholarships

Cane Fresh is committed to improving the lives of the farmers who cultivate cane. With this intention, we have built schools for the children of the farmers that are equipped with all the necessary material like furniture, drinking water, uniforms, books, toilets, computers etc. The students are charged a very small fee, only to ensure that there is a commitment even from their side, to get educated.

However, we found that several students could not afford to pay this tiny fee. Being children of small farmers with small land holdings, other priorities would take over at times.

Which is why, Cane Fresh has started a scholarship program, for deserving and committed students. The program will help waive off their fees, and also provide help in the future when they move on to secondary and higher education. The promoters themselves contribute directly to the scholarship program. Voluntary organizations, charitable trusts, corporates and individuals who would like to contribute to this noble cause are also free to do so. Your contributions will be managed, monitored and audited by an independent third-party agency, to ensure maximum trust and transparency.
